We are all members
The Land Conservancy’s formal membership is strong, thanks to folks who are joining in the work of preserving Adams County’s rural lands and character.
We’re grateful to our neighbors who have stepped up in a tangible way to protect this beautiful community we share.
But in a very real sense, we are all members of the Land Conservancy, because every one of us gets to enjoy the many benefits of its work…
We all can stretch our gaze out over Adams County’s beautiful rolling meadows, orchards, and croplands.
We all breathe pure, clean air, thanks to our many acres of refreshing forests that can never be paved over.
We all drink clean water, in part because our streams are lined with natural buffers that slow and filter stormwater runoff.
We have access to fresh, locally grown food, because our farmers and growers have access to many acres of fertile, protected farmland.
We delight in our bird and wildlife populations, because these animals can flourish in habitats protected from development, forever.
We may be tempted to take all this rural goodness for granted—but many nearby communities are losing their farmland, woodlands, open spaces, water resources, and wildlife habitat at an alarming rate.
The Land Conservancy stands in the gap to protect our unspoiled countryside—and everything that depends upon it.
We invite you to enjoy your membership benefits!
And we invite you to consider joining us formally—membership starts at just $50.
Because the greater our numbers, the greater our impact—and the more we can do to protect Adams County, forever.
